Two persons were killed and nine injured when they were struck by lightning at Mudukulathur, 60 km from Madurai,India yesterday. A group of people were playing cricket and 13 persons were on the ground when a thunderstorm occurred on Sunday.
Two persons died on the spot when they were struck by lightning, police said.
The injured have been admitted to the Mudukulathur government hospital.
