Horns, piercings and leopard inkings dominate Ecuador tattoo convention

Fans of tattoos and extreme body modification descended on the capital of Ecuador this weekend for the annual Quito Tattoo Convention.
Maria Jose Christerna from Mexico, also known as The Vampire Woman, was once of the 'big names' in attendance who took centre stage at the fair.
Christerna, who is in her late 30s, is covered head-to-toe in colourful artwork, but not satisfied with decorating her skin, she has also had dental work to create fangs, a forked tongue, dozens of piercings and sub-dermal implants on her head to make appear as if  she has horns.
Other visitors included American Matt Gone, who has had over 95 per cent of his body covered in ink, including his tongue and genitals
Mr Gone,, originally from Portland, Oregon, also known as 'The Chequered Man', claims to have begun tattooing his body 25 years ago to disguise physical deformities.
