A seven-months pregnant Nepalese woman was set on fire by her husband after her family failed to pay him a dowry, which included a buffalo and a motorbike.

Rihana Shekh Dhafali, 25, lost her baby after her husband Farid Sheikh poured kerosene over her body and set her alight.

She also says her husband burned her genitalia with cigarettes and would assault her on a regular basis over the undelivered dowry.

Ms Shekh Dhafali, who had been living with her husband in Miyapur, India, was taken to hospital by members of her husband’s family on the premise that she would tell doctors that she had set fire to herself, a local human rights group said.

When her father Mohammad Samim Shekh Dhapali found out about her injuries, he travelled to the hospital in India and brought her back to Nepal where she revealed the truth about her horrific burns.

She later miscarried her baby at seven months as a result of her injuries and the traumatic experience.

Ms Shekh Dhafali told human rights organisation Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) that her husband’s family had tied her hands behind her back and poured kerosene over her body before setting her on fire.

‘According to the victim, her husband assaulted her regularly saying that she did not bring motorbike, buffalo and other things as dowry,’ INSEC said.

‘She added that he burnt her private parts with cigarette, saying that they set fire on her by sprinkling kerosene over her after tying her hands behind.’

She has now been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment and local police are investigating the incident, INSEC said.

‘When the incident happened about a month ago, they took her to India for treatment, saying it was an accident,’ a police official told AFP.

‘We recorded her statement yesterday, but her husband and in-laws have vanished. We are searching for them.’

Elderly couple arrested for sex acts in church premises

Attendees at a wedding Saturday were shocked to spot a 60-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man engaging in sex acts on the church lawn, Utah cops report. 

A Salt Lake City Police Department cop was summoned to Sacred Heart Catholic Church around 6 PM by a wedding guest who “ran into the road to stop” a passing police cruiser being driven by Officer Rich Stone.

Stone then approached Sandra Kruser and Wilson Benally, who were laying on the church lawn. “I walked over to the couple and I physically saw the sex act,” Stone reported. Specifically, the cop noted, Benally “had his tongue and finger inside of Ms. Krusen’s vagina.”

The Kruser-Benally tryst was viewed by, among others, “four children in the wedding party,” according to a police report.

When Stone confronted the couple, they initially ignored orders to stop having sex. Kruser and Benally--who were not invited to the nuptials--eventually had to be pried apart by Stone.

Seen in the above mug shots, Kruser and Benally were arrested for gross lewdness and public intoxication. Benally was also charged with criminal trespass. Kruser and Benally remain locked up in the Salt Lake County jail, where Kruser is being held in lieu of $2093 bond, while Benally will have to post $2313 to secure his release.

Widow gang-raped by eight men will be caned in public under Sharia law as 'punishment' for having an affair

An Indonesian widow who was gang-raped by eight 'vigilantes' as punishment for having an affair with a married man, is now to suffer the further indignity of being caned in public.

The rapists caught the couple together when they barged into her house in the northern Indonesian province of Banda Aceh and accused her of having 'improper sexual relations' with the 40-year-old man.

The 25-year-old woman's companion was tied up and beaten, while she was raped repeatedly. Then the two of them were doused with buckets of sewage.It was only after the terrified woman was dragged to a police station by her attackers and reported for breaking strict Sharia laws against extra-marital sex then it was learned she had been raped.

Three of the vigilantes were immediately detained and charged with rape as their companions fled - but that did not prevent police deciding to punish the woman with a caning for breaking religious laws.

'The woman and the man will both be caned because they have violated a religious bylaw on sexual relations,' Mr Ibrahim Latif, head of the Shariah office in the eastern town of Langsa, told the Jakarta Globe.

He said the fact that the woman had been raped would not be taken into consideration in determining the punishment for the religious crime she had allegedly committed.

Mr Ibrahim said the woman and her companion had confessed to having sex on several previous occasions even though the man is married and has five children.

Religious laws: Her 40-year-old companion also faces the public humiliation after being caught having 'improper sexual relations'

Under the religious law, the woman and her lover face up to nine strokes of the cane each - and the punishmen will be carried out in a public place.

The three arrested rapists - who include a 13-year-old boy - would have faced the same number of cane strokes if they had been charged under Shariah law - but they are facing charges in a criminal court.

The hunt continues for the five others.

It is not the first time in Aceh that a woman accused of inappropriate conduct with an 'unrelated male' - her husband - has been summarily raped.

In the same town of Langsa, a 20-year-old university student was raped by three Shariah police officers in January 2010 after being caught riding on a motor cycle with her boyfriend.

The town's Sharia police chief was later sacked and two of the rapists were sentenced to eight years in prison. The third, said the Jakarta Globe was never caught.

Steven Cohen paraded in front of the Eiffel Tower with a live rooster tied to his penis in a performance entitled ‘Coq/ Cock’ September last year.

During the jaw-dropping routine, he danced on the tourist-filled Trocadero Plaza dressed in a corset, high heels, long red gloves and an elaborate feathered headdress... with a cockerel attached to his penis by a ribbon.

Tourists - including a group of nuns - looked on in bewilderment at the spectacle which lasted only a few moments before police arrested Cohen, dragged him off.

Today a Paris court found Cohen guilty of sexual exhibitionism but did not impose a sentence. Prosecutors have asked for a €1,000 (£822) fine, Le Figaro reports. 

The Telegraph reports the rooster – named Franck – was not harmed during the performance and was chosen “because it’s the emblem of France.”

According to Cohen’s website, the artist is considering appealing.

After the verdict, he told Citizen: “I think the victim is art. I’m not saying I’m going to, but my desire is to complete what was incorrectly halted by the authorities.”

School principal fired for having sex with security guard during school hours

A New York City high school principal has been sacked for having sex with the school guard, an assistant principal and a parent on campus while classes were in session, and leaving incriminating photos of the trysts on department computers.

Annie Schmutz Seifullah, 35, was escorted from Robert Wagner Secondary School of Arts and Technology, in Long Island City, Queens, Thursday, where she was principal of the 7th-12th grade.

Detectives investigating the allegations seized computers and other electronics from her office and home, which, according to the New york Post, contained pictures of her wearing only lingerie and engaging in various sex acts including a threesome.

'We are appalled by these disturbing allegations and acted swiftly to remove the principal while the matter is under investigation,' a Department of Education spokesman told the Post. 

'This type of alleged behavior is completely unacceptable for any DOE employee.'

The newspaper reports that Seifullah's antics were revealed after a romance with a student's father came to a bitter end and the scorned lover turned over three department laptops he obtained while living with the principal.

The unidentified dad also gave investigators a video and audio tape in which Seifullah allegedly confesses to engaging in oral sex with an NYPD school-safety agent in the school security office.

She also admits to getting frisky with an assistant principal in a book-storage room during school hours, while he was visiting from another school.

'I don't know what I was thinking. I don't know why I thought it was OK,' she tells the angry father in the tape, after he accuses her of cheating.

'You gave him [expletive] while my child was in the building,' he yells in the recording, according to the Post.

The dad also claims Seifullah admitted she had multiple rendezvous with an 'old lover' in a 'hidden location' inside the school.

The father said he came forward because the mother-of-one 'played me for a fool.'

'Ms. Seifullah clearly used her power and position as principal to . . . seek several sexual partners at her school,' he charged.

The principal, whose annual salary is $136,959, lent her lover money, according to records, handing over $10,000, plus $500 and $300 money orders.

She also testified in Queens Family Court as a character witness in his custody battle with his wife. 

She spoke as both his child's principal and as the dad's 'girlfriend' while on the stand.

Dating colleagues or parents of students is not against school policy however performing sexual acts inside a school or placing sexual images on school equipment could bring about misconduct charges.

Sefullah uploaded a picture of herself with the father, naming him and declaring with a heart icon, on her now-defunct Facebook account last July with the caption: 'A single dad walked in the office of my school and swept me off my feet.'
The pair split in March. Seifullah filed for divorce, presumably from her four-year-old son's father, last summer. The divorce is still pending.

A woman who drugged her husband before dousing him in fuel and setting him alight has been jailed for 22 years.

Karen Lyle, 50, searched the internet for 'ways to poison somebody' before secretly administering a strong anti-depressant to husband Andrew.

She waited until Mr Lyle, 47, became drowsy and fell asleep on their bed - and then continued with her plot to murder him.

The father-of-two was only saved by the fact he woke up halfway through the 'horrific' attack, which left him traumatised and with life-changing burns, Portsmouth Crown Court heard.

Lyle denied attempting to murder her husband at their home in Fareham, Hampshire, but was convicted by a jury at trial.

Nobody else was at home when the attack took place on July 2 last year.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: 'An investigation by specialists from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service concluded that the cause of this fire was a naked flame upon an ignitable liquid.

'Mr Lyle was treated at Queen Alexandra Hospital and later airlifted to the burns unit at Salisbury hospital, where he was treated for significant injuries.

'He remained there for approximately a month.

'The police investigation showed that there was evidence of the drug Mirtazapine - which causes drowsiness - in Mr Lyle's system.

'It was revealed during the court case that Mrs Lyle had given this to her husband without his knowledge.

'Evidence to show that Mrs Lyle has been searching online for information about poisoning someone, was presented to the court.'

Mr Lyle said after the case: 'This was an horrific attack, which has left me with life changing injuries and could easily have been fatal.

'The incident has deeply affected me and my two sons.

'The court case was traumatic for all my family, but I am content that justice has been done.

'I am grateful to all the professionals who helped us through this.

'They include the burns unit at Salisbury Hospital, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, and the prosecution team.'

Detective Constable Rob Lowe, who led the police investigation, said: 'We welcome the sentence handed to Mrs Lyle and are pleased to have secured a prosecution following a joint investigation with our colleagues at Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.'

Boy, 14, who raped his 8 yr-old cousin is charged as an adult by the court

A Maryland teenager is being charged as an adult in the alleged rape of his 8-year-old female cousin.

Solomon Pule, 14, was turned in to authorities last Monday by his mother, according to CBS Baltimore.

A probable cause statement, obtained by Fox News Baltimore, said Pule's mother came downstairs to see the teen mounting his young cousin on a love seat. The little girl's skirt was lifted, Pule's pants were down, and a pair of scissors sat next to the two, according to the statement.

"He told me if I was to scream that he was going to cut me," the victim told police. “He shoved his thing in me.”

Pule's mother told police she had instructed her son and niece to clean up the living room while she put her 2-year-old down for a nap upstairs. Believing it to be too quiet, the mother went downstairs to investigate and caught her son in the act, according to WUSA 9.

Police said Pule admitted to the crime during an interrogation. He is now being charged as an adult.

Woman who attempted to have sex with horse through craigslist is arrested on bestiality charges

An Arizona woman has been arrested on bestiality charges after allegedly trying to arrange sex with a horse via Craigslist.

The woman, who's described astransgender and who the police report is legally known as Donald Waelde, 22, posted this ad on the Missed Connections section of Phoenix Craigslist on April 8:

"I am 22 years old and I want to play with a male Horse. Simple as that. If you have access to a Male horse, and can allow me access to a male horse, then contact me please ;) I will do something in return.

Waelde's ad caught the eye of another Craigslist visitor who reported it to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Phoenix New Times reports. Undercover deputies contacted Waelde. During a subsequent conversation, she allegedly stated she wanted to perform oral sex on the horse and agreed to meet the undercover detective, the paper reports.

The meeting took place on Tuesday and deputies brought along a horse from the sheriff's Mounted Posse as a prop.

During the meeting, Waelde allegedly admitted to placing the ad and her sexual intentions with the animal.

She was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit bestiality.

A search warrant of her home was also executed, according to AZ Central.com.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Waelde's arrest was the fourth case since 2011, where an alleged animal sex abuser was caught on Craigslist.

"Cases like these are tough to talk about, but we will always go after those who commit sex acts with animals," Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio told KTAR.com.

Timothy Frederick Knight, 53, allegedly stole a Honda Accord in Daly City, outside San Francisco, last month. Police found the car parked in the street and placed a tracker in it.The next day, Knight allegedly drove the Accord to court where he was being charged for stealing a car previously. “He obviously wanted to make sure he didn’t fail to appear,” District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe told the San Mateo Daily Journal. He was arrested after leaving the hearing in the vehicle, SFGate reports.

Police say the screwdriver used to punch the ignition was still on the floor.

Knight has seven prior felony convictions, CBS SF reported.

He has pleaded not guilty to the new charges, and is currently in custody in lieu of $165,000 bail -- $65,000 for the first case and $100,000 for the second.

Drug dealers who kept photos of themselves displaying cannabis and cash are jailed

A gang of drug dealers have been jailed after two of them posed for photos with bags of cannabis and bundles of cash.

Eugene May-Dyer, Russell Turner, Ian Cunningham and Grant Barnhurst, all from Birmingham, were arrested during a series of raids in the Kings Norton area of the city in February last year.

Officers seized almost £1,000 of cannabis, dealer bags and digital scales, plus mobile phones containing a back catalogue of text conversations between the group discussing drugs.

Examination of the phone also revealed an image of 18-year-old Turner, from Green Acres, showing off with handfuls of cash and used notes stuffed into his waistband.

In another photograph seized from a mobile phone, Turner can be seen with 24-year-old May-Dyer, from Halladale, examining dried cannabis leaf scattered across a floor.

All four admitted conspiracy to supply Class B drugs at Birmingham Crown Court.

Yesterday, labourer Turner was jailed for 13 months - including an additional month for breaching an earlier suspended sentence - and May-Dyer for 12 months.

Fellow drug suppliers Cunningham, 24, and 21-year-old Barnhurst were both handed nine-month sentences.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Bannister, head of West Midlands Police’s Gang Taskforce, said: 'These are young men who’d formed a fledgling gang that was on the up.'

He added: 'We managed to intercept them at an early stage before their criminality could escalate and potentially cause more damage in the Kings Norton community.'

'Our communities repeatedly tell us that taking action against drug dealing in communities is a priority for them and urge us to take action; no-one should have to put up with that on their doorstep.

Police discovered the rookie gang’s cannabis ‘den’ on 10 November 2012 when officers stopped a car being driven away from Turner’s home.'That’s what we’ve done and four young men who cockily posed for photos boasting of their drug dealing are now paying the price.'

Police found drugs in the car and then searched a shed in Turner’s garden - which had been turned into a 'chillout summer house' with a TV - and they found 1.3kg of cannabis.

Fingerprints belonging to May-Dyer and Cunningham were found on the drugs bags while a BlackBerry phone found in the shed contained over 60,000 messages, many of which linked the four men to drug dealings.

Inspector Vanessa Eyles is the Neighbourhood Policing Manager covering the area. She said: 'The impact these individuals had while dealing and supplying drugs locally was negative and destructive.

'Their criminal activity caused anti-social behaviour and crime everywhere they dealt. My officers worked closely with the Gangs Task Force to ensure the right people were targeted.'

A bridegroom who raped a teenage girl on his wedding night while his pregnant wife slept in the next room was jailed for 18 years today.

William Jordan carried out the sickening attack when he was 18 after tying the knot at Hammersmith town hall in west London.

The newlywed couple had spent the night celebrating at a friend’s home with other friends and family before turning in.

He had sneaked out of the bed he was sharing with his wife and raped a 14-year-old girl.

His victim was too terrified to tell anyone what had happened and blocked out the memory for years to come.

Jordan, who is now 59, has finally been brought to justice 41 years after the attack, which took place on April 20, 1973.

In 1977 Jordan began abusing another young girl when she came to babysit his two children once a month, the Old Bailey heard.

When he and his wife went to the pub Jordan would sneak away and rape the 11-year-old at his home before going back ‘as though nothing had happened’.

The attacks carried on for the next two years.

The judge, Mr Recorder Oliver Sells, QC, branded Jordan a ‘devious, predatory abuser’ as he sentenced him to a total of 18 years imprisonment.

The judge said: ‘On your wedding night after a ceremony at the town hall you and your new wife, who was heavily pregnant and only 16 years of age, retired for the night to the house of some friends.

‘During that night, your wedding night, you went into the room of the child and raped her forcefully.

‘She has blocked out that incident from her mind and was unable for good and powerful reasons from speaking about it and has for many, many years kept silent.’

He continued: ‘After the wedding in 1973 you and your wife had children.

‘As they grew up an 11-year-old girl came over to your house to babysit about once a month over a two-year period.

‘She already had a miserable home life, a violent father and uncaring mother. She told the jury that she loved your two children and being with them was for her a brief escape.

‘You knew all this and yet you abused your position of power.

‘When you and your wife went out to the public house you would pop back to your home and rape that young child before going back to the pub as though nothing had happened.

‘This state of affairs only ended when the child was taken into care.’

The judge added: ‘She told the jury there was no one she could tell and no one who would believe her.

‘If she had told what you did she would be beaten and treated even more badly.

‘Both these women’s childhoods were blighted and their lives remain affected to this day by your conduct.’He commended both the women for their courage in speaking out and ‘fighting their demons’.

‘They both endured decades of undeserved silence, shame and suffering,’ Judge Sells said.

‘You enjoyed decades of undeserved freedom, status in your family and the power of an abuser.

‘Finally they both in middle age found the courage to speak out. They gave their evidence in open court in full view with great dignity.

‘They fought their demons and gave a compelling account of what you had done to them.’

He added: ‘You were a devious, predatory abuser of children over a period of years.’

Judge Sells continued: ‘It’s clear the jury found their accounts moving.

‘I hope they [the victims] now feel the justice to which they are entitled has been done.’

The court heard Jordon was convicted of another sexual offence in 1980.

Defence barrister Tim Starkey said he suffers from a number of health conditions including epilepsy.

Jordan, from Hammersmith, denied the charges, but was convicted by a jury of three counts of rape.

He will remain on the sex offenders register for life.

John Wayne Bobbitt , the man whose wife severed his penis 20 years ago, has starred in a few porn movies, including 'John Wayne Bobbitt Uncut'. 

Bobbitt found that the surgeons' work to reattach his severed penis had been a success and since then had continued to engage in sexual experiments to boost his ego. 

In an interview last year, Bobbitt, who also underwent a penis enlargement paid for by a radio show, claimed he had slept with around 70 women since the attack.

The marriage ended after two years.

Bobbitt's former wife, Lorena has revealed that despite famously slicing off her husband's penis two decades ago, she didn't have any trouble dating afterwards.

Speaking out 21 years after making international headlines, the 44-year-old has expressed her regret over the attack, while also revealing how she has moved on with her life since.

She is now living in Gainesville, Virginia, where she works in real estate, enjoys zumba and raises money for women's shelters. She has an eight-year-old daughter with her partner of 16 years.

'Believe it or not, I had quite a few gentlemen that wanted to date me,' she told NBC4, smiling

Revealed: Lorena Bobbitt, 44, is now a mother-of-one and working as a realtor living in Gainesville, Virginia, two decades after she famously sliced off her abusive husband's penis while he was in bed

In 1993, Ecuadorian-born Lorena was 24 and working as a manicurist in Manassas, Virginia while enduring physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her husband John Wayne Bobbitt.

On June 23, 1993, he returned from a night of drinking and started to row with his then-wife. 

Lorena later told authorities that he raped her, but he was acquitted of the alleged attack.

After he fell asleep, she went out to the kitchen and picked up an eight-inch knife before returning to the bedroom and slicing off his penis. She says the night was 'a blur'.

Leaving him bleeding in their bed, she then jumped in the car and drove off, throwing the severed penis out of the window into a field.

But moments later, she realized the severity of what she had done and alerted 911. A painstaking search uncovered his penis before doctors worked for nine hours to reattach it.

This year marks 20 years since she was found not guilty by reason of temporary insanity. Jurors agreed an 'irresistible impulse' provoked by abuse led her to attack her husband.

Speaking to NBC4 from her home, she said she felt bad for what she had done.

'It was done but it was not done on purpose,' she said. 'It's sad because domestic violence put me and my ex-husband in the hospital.'

She said it took a lot of energy to pull herself away from that life - she and Bobbitt divorced in 1995 - but that she no longer see herself as a victim.

Lorena now uses her maiden name - Gallo - but said she still uses 'Bobbitt' while carrying out charity work for shelters so that people recognize her.

'I use that name, the Lorena Bobbitt name, to help others,' she said. 'Something good has to come out of this tragedy like mine.'

She and Olivia also deliver Easter baskets and Christmas gifts to families in need, and she proudly says she wants her daughter to realize 'Working together as a team we can help others.'

She has a great group of female friends who 'don't judge anybody [and] don't judge me.'

In celebration of a student’s 15th birthday, a Houston public school teacher gave the boy a “full contact lap dance” in front of her entire class, an encounter that resulted yesterday in the educator’s arrest on a felony charge, the Smoking Gun reported.

As detailed in a probable cause affidavit, Felicia Smith, 42, admitted to performing the lap dance when questioned by cops. Smith, a Stovall Middle School teacher, claimed that “the class convinced her” to perform the lap dance, which lasted about four minutes and was accompanied by recorded music.

Police first learned of the February 26 performance earlier this month, and subsequently interviewed the boy and his mother. Additionally, investigators obtained a videotape of the lap dance, which was apparently shot by another student.

After the boy entered Smith’s classroom around 10:20 AM, the educator “grabbed a chair and placed it next to her desk.” The teenager told cops that fellow students were “yelling and telling him to sit down on the chair that was placed by Ms. Smith.”

As music played, the victim recalled, Smith sat down on his lap “with her buttocks making contact with his penis while she began to move back and forth.” The action caused the boy to “have an erected penis,” cops noted. Smith, the boy said, also “fondled him with her hands by touching him all over his body.” The teen admitted that he “slapped Ms. Smith buttocks a few times.”

Near the lap dance's conclusion, Smith “got on her two knees and placed her head between” the boy’s legs, police allege. “I love you baby, Happy Birthday,”Smith reportedly said as she hugged the boy.

Charged with improper relationship with a student, Smith is free on $30,000 bond, and is scheduled for a May 22 court hearing. (2 pages)
