Florida woman keeps terrifying tigers as pets in her garden (VIDEO)

Janice Haley says she has a 'special bond' with the tigers and as far as she is concerned they are her 'four-legged furry kids
'With six-inch fangs and weighing in at 600lb, Saber and Janda are no ordinary house cats.
Yet these huge Bengal tigers live in Janice Haley’s suburban garden and are treated like ordinary pets.
They are fed by hand, get strokes and cuddles, and white male Saber goes to sleep sucking on her finger.
Janice’s life changed 20 years ago when she spotted an advert for a tiger training course in her local paper – and two years later arrived home with her first cub. Then in 2002 she bought Janda, who is now 12.
After her first tiger died in 2007 little Saber – who was only two weeks old at the time – was introduced to the family.
Janice, who lives in Davenport, Florida, says: “They pretty much look at me as being their mother. As far as I’m concerned they are my big four-legged furry kids.
“We have a very special bond – they rub my face and let me kiss them on the nose, we can cuddle with them and hug them.”
After a full day of play and feeding, Janice lies down with the tigers to help them go to sleep.
She says: “I don’t know of too many places where you can cuddle with a full grown tiger and we’ve been doing this with them for years.” Janice and husband David work around the clock to care for the tigers and spend all of their income on food and care.
They are fed three times from 1pm to 11pm and the 60ft by 40ft enclosure needs to be cleaned several times a day. Janice says: “We have to travel an hour north for Janda’s horse meat once a week and an hour south for Saber’s beef.”
Not everyone agrees with people having two man-eating tigers in their back garden.
But Janice says: “It is not the ideal place for a tiger to be in a cage but at this point in the wild there isn’t a lot of hope for them any more.
"If there aren’t some left in cages there aren’t going to be any left at all in a couple of years. Our mission here has always been to try to bring people closer together with these tigers – to build a connection and help save the wild tigers before it’s too late.”

'Virgin' who killed six people had plans to rape women

Killer: Elliot Rodger, pictured, told friends he had thoughts of raping women, family friends said

" I'm 22 years old and I'm still a virgin. I've never even kissed a girl,'.
'College is the time when everyone experiences those things such as sex and fun and pleasure. But in those years I've had to rot in loneliness. It's not fair. You girls have never been attracted to me. I don't know why you girls aren't attracted to me. But I will punish you all for it."

This was the comment made by the son of Hunger Games assistant director, Elliot Rodger shortly before he went on rampage on Friday, killing six people before shooting himself dead.

Rodger had told a friend he wanted to hold down and rape women, his friend's mother Cathleen Bloeser's has revealed.
Cathleen Bloeser's son was a childhood friend of killer Elliot Rodger and was among the 30 people who received his sick manifesto by email just seconds before he carried out the murders.
In the 141-page document, 22-year-old Rodger described how he was going to kill his housemates, then slaughter women at a sorority house before opening fire on the streets of Isla Vista. He explained that he was driven to kill after numerous women had rejected him.
Moments after sending the manifesto to his mother, father, former teachers and friends, Rodger went on his shooting spree.
Family friend Simon Astaire told Reuters that Rodger's mother, Chin, had also received a phone call on the night of the shooting from his therapist alerting her to the manifesto.
She called police and her ex-husband, Peter Rodger, and the two parents raced to Isla Vista - but she heard radio reports about the shootings as she drove.
As well as emailing the 30 people his manifesto, he also shared his hate for women in a video posted online called Elliot Rodger's Retribution.
He unleashed a tirade about his 'loneliness, rejection, and unfulfilled desires,' and blamed women for preferring 'obnoxious brutes' to him, 'the supreme gentleman'.

Among his victims were, Weihan Wang, 20, of Fremont, and Cheng Yuan Hong, 20, of San Jose, whom he stabbed to death on Friday at the apartment they had shared with him.
The body of another UCSB student, George Chen, 19, of San Jose, was also found at the apartment, but he did not live there.  Rodger then climbed into his SUV and drove towards the Alpha Phi sorority house, where he shot dead Katherine Cooper, 22, and Veronika Weiss, 19.
He then got back into his car and drove to a nearby deli, where he opened fire. There, he killed student Chris Michael-Martinez, 20, in an attack that was captured on surveillance footage.
The gunman then climbed back into his car and continued to shoot at passersby as he drove, hitting three pedestrians before he police officers returned fire and shot him in the hip.
He tried to escape and knocked down a cyclist, before he eventually shot himself in the head and smashed into parked cars.
When police found his body, he was surrounded by three semi-automatic handguns and nearly 400 rounds of ammunition, which had all been purchased legally.

Murder trial suspended after judge saw couple having sex beside the court

Stock Photo

Staffers at an Italian courthouse decided to take advantage of a slow period in the judicial schedule and have sex in a room obscured by fogged glass.
The couple thought they could not be seen, but a judge presiding over a murder trial in the adjacent room proved them wrong.
The Mirror reports that the judge, Anna Ivaldi, ordered a prosecutor to stop speaking when she heard peculiar noises and "saw the outline of two naked bodies"fornicating behind the darkened glass.
Proceedings were temporarily halted while the disturbance was investigated by a court official. The embarrassed couple, who are reportedly married employees at the Genoa court, may face disciplinary measures, according to the Telegraph.
They were caught in flagrante delicto on April 28, the newspaper reports:
'The judge suspended the case and had the two people clawed away, reported the Daily Mail.
'They are both court admin staff but they have not been named. It's a bit delicate as one of them is married.'
A spokesman for the court in Genoa said:'Proceedings in a murder case were temporarily halted after the judge noted a disturbance.
'The matter was dealt with and an investigation has been launched so as a result it would not be appropriate to comment further.'

There's a time and a place: A judge suspended a murder trial after spotting two court staff having sex during the hearing at the Palazzo di Giustizia (Palace of Justice, above) in Genoa

The Italian court system is unusually quiet at that time of year because many magistrates and officials take advantage of a series of public holidays to take off a week or more.

80-yr-old woman who 'transformed from bird to human' escaped lynching by irate mob

The victim
An elderly woman narrowly escaped lynching on Wednesday after she allegedly transformed from a bird to a human being in the full glare of spectators.
An eyewitness who gave his name as Mr Chike said he was sitting in front of a compound with his girlfriend when they saw three black birds flying.
He said it seemed as if the birds were involved in a fight and as he was watching, suddenly, one of the birds fell into a moving van belonging to the Eko Electricity Distribution Company while the other two flew away.
He said, “The bird suddenly turned to an old woman of about 80. People were shocked as they saw the woman rolling on the road and blood gushing out from her forehead.
A timely intervention by the  the Traditional ruler of Layeni Community, Baale Rafiu Olayeni, prevented the irate crowd from lynching the old woman.
Subsequently, The Divisional Police Officer of Layeni Police Division, CSP Chijioke Ndu who got a phone call concerning the incident, drafted anti- robbery policemen to the scene, rescued the woman and took her to the station.
Hundreds of spectators were said to have followed them to the station.
The traditional leader said people told him the woman fell down as a bird but that he did not believe them. So he had to rescue the old woman before the mob lynched her as they claimed she was a witch.
At the station, however, the police found it difficult to control the mammoth crowd that had come to see the alleged witch.
It was learnt that the DPO had to call for reinforcement from Ajegunle and Amukoko divisions before he could handle the crowd as some people were bent on lynching the woman.
The policemen were said to have fired tear gas at the crowd and dispersed them from the station and the woman was subsequently transferred to the Area B Command in Apapa for further investigation.

The mother of Britain’s biggest family is pregnant with her 17th child at the same time as her eldest daughter is expecting her second, the family revealed today.
Sue Radford, 39, of Morecambe, Lancashire, who already has nine sons and seven daughters, is looking forward to her family’s newest addition after finding out she was pregnant in March.
Mrs Radford - who featured on Channel 4 show 16 Kids and Counting - is expecting her 17th baby in November, while her daughter Sophie, 20, is excited for her new arrival due five weeks earlier.

Nine sons and seven daughters: Sue and Noel Radford are parents to Chris, 25, Sophie, 20, Chloe, 18, Jack, 17, Daniel, 15, Luke, 13, Millie, 12, Katie, 11, James, ten, Ellie, nine, Aimee, eight, Josh, seven, Max, five Tilly, four, Oscar, two, and Casper, one (not all pictured). Sophie is also mother to Daisy, one (far left)

The Radfords, who run a bakery and are completely self-sufficient, receive no state benefits.
Mrs Radford said she was ‘ecstatic’ to learn she was pregnant, adding that sharing the experience with her daughter stops her worrying after she suffered a miscarriage in September last year.
The mother and father-to-be Noel, 43, said they were ‘devastated beyond words’ when a 12-week scan revealed the infant had died, just days after they announced they were expecting again.
But after the news of her latest pregnancy, Mrs Radford said: ‘Baby number 17 is due in November and we couldn’t be happier. It’s been fantastic being pregnant the same time as Sophie.
‘After everything we went through when we had a miscarriage, Sophie really helps to keep me calm.
‘I worried constantly during my last pregnancy but instead of doing the same this time, I just keep saying that what will be, will be. I really feel like this one is meant to be.

It’s really stopped me getting stressed and it’s great not to have to go through it all on your own. We are craving all of the same things too, particularly junk food like cream cakes, chocolate and ice lollies.
‘We just laugh and say at least we’ll get fat together. I’ve definitely started to balloon and I’ve had to say goodbye to my skinny jeans.’

Mrs Radford, who lives with her husband and children in a £280,000 nine-bedroom former care home, said: ‘It was so lovely. We both got to see our baby in HD, which was totally amazing.
‘Not many mums get to share that with their daughter so I knew it was really special. I feel like we have already made some amazing memories together.
‘Sophie knows she’s having a little girl and, although I don’t know for sure, I feel like I’m having a boy. No matter how many scans you have it really is amazing to see a little life growing inside you.
‘When it was Sophie’s turn, she found out she’s having a girl and she’s a little wriggler. All of the kids are so excited. All the boys want a boy and all the girls want another girl.’
When asked whether baby number 17 will be the last, Mrs Radford said: ‘I always say “never say never” - but maybe this time it’s the last.’

Philippine Zoo offers massage from 4 giant pythons (VIDEO)

Nothing could be more relaxing than a deep muscle massage. But what if that massage was being dished out by four deadly giant Burmese pythons?
That's the unique experience that visitors to the Cebu City Zoo in the Philippines are queuing up for - and it is free for anyone who's brave enough to try it.
The Pythons - named Michelle, Walter, EJ and Daniel - are taken out of their cages and placed one at a time on top of visitors, who lie down on a bamboo bed near the zoo's main entrance.
Under the watchful eye of zookeepers, the snakes slowly slither across their patient's body for up to 15 minutes.
But it's not for the faint of heart - Burmese pythons can quickly squeeze their victims to death. And with four of the 5m-long snakes weighing a combined 250kg, there is no escape once the 'treatment' starts.

One volunteer, Ian Maclean from Hawaii, said: 'I've been massaged twice and lived to tell the tale.
'I had to lie on my back on a bamboo daybed in the open air. I was briefed on what to do and what not to do during the massage.
'These instructions are crucial, as you can imagine. They tell you not to blow air on the snake, because this is like being pinched on the bum, apparently.
'You can't shout for help as the snake can feel your vibrations and thinks you're prey or a predator, depending on the environment.'
The slithering motion is said to be therapeutic and calming; the flickering of the tongue on skin supposedly mimics a tickling sensation.Zoo manager Giovanni Romarate, who owns Michelle and Walter, insists the snake massage is safe. Still, each python is fed 10 or more chickens beforehand, to curb any hunger pangs.
He added: 'Snakes do not attack as long as they are not harmed. We also made sure that we use pythons because they are not venomous.
'At first, visitors feel fear but most of the guests who try the snake massage say that they like it. It's like getting a hand massage. You get to enjoy the cold grip of our snakes.'
Mr Maclean, a professional cameraman, filmed tourists having the snake massage.
'The slithering motion is actually quite pleasant,' he said. 'With all the snakes covering my body, they weighed around 250kg - it is impossible to get up without the handler's help.
'It is common to see scars and bite marks on the snake handlers. Some say these guys are a dying breed.'

Man forced 5-yr-old girl to smoke marijuana after brutalizing her, says Fairview police

      Marquise R. Harris-Hill

An Oregon man is accused of forcing a 5-year-old girl to smoke marijuana after brutally beating her with a belt.

Marquise R. Harris-Hill, 26, was arraigned Monday on counts including criminal mistreatment, assault, and unlawful delivery of marijuana to a minor, according to KOIN.
On May 8, Fairview police responded to reports of a child being beaten. When officers arrived at the home, they found a sobbing toddler with her head shaved, welts on her arms and bruises covering her torso, KTPV reports.
According to police, Harris told officers that he “whipped the child at the direction of the mother." Police did not comment on the man's relationship to the girl.
Prosecutors described the belt as heavy, “with metal protrusions” throughout. Officers described it as a “studded belt," according to a probable cause affidavit.
When interviewed by social workers, the girl said that she'd been beaten because she hadn't brushed her teeth. The child also told staff that Harris had “forced her to smoke marijuana,” according to prosecutors.
Police collected a urine sample from the girl, but the results were not immediately available.

Woman forced 3-yr-old to eat own feces - cops

      Nicole Candelaria
      Nicole Candelaria
An Arizona woman was charged with child abuse after police say she forced her boyfriend's 3-year-old daughter to eat her own feces.
Police say Nicole Candelaria, 27, held down the 3-year-old and forced her to consume excrement as punishment for defecating in the bathtub, according to ABC 7. Police arrested Candelaria on Saturday in Tempe, AZ Family reports.
Candelaria reportedly lives with her boyfriend and watches his three children while he's at work. Her arrest came after the victim and her two sisters -- ages 3 and 5 --told their mother about the incident, according to court documents obtained by the Phoenix New Times.
Candelaria told police that the girls made the whole thing up, and that the three-year-old "lies often." However, doctors found that bruising on the girl's sides, legs, chest and back were consistent with claims that Candelaria held down the child.

Man hid in underaged girl's closet for 5 days, raped her at nights

      Jarred Ashley Workman
A North Carolina man has been arrested after police say he spent five days hiding in a 14-year-old girl's closet and sexually assaulting her at night.
Jarred Ashley Workman, 27, of Iredell County, was charged with 11 counts of statutory rape and five counts of statutory sex offense, according to WCNC.
Authorities said Workman chatted with the teen on social media for about a month before deciding to meet up in the woods near the girl's home.
The teen invited Workman to stay at her home, where she lived with her parents, on April 27, according to WTVR.
The suspect managed to stay there for five days, allegedly sexually assaulting the teen at night while her parents were asleep.
“Just the fact that he would be that brazen to come up here to meet a girl online and then would try to stay in her residence not knowing what her parents are or what they’re about,” Lt. Bill Hamby with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office told the station.
The victim's mother caught Workman hiding in the closet on May 2. Workman allegedly bolted from the residence and ran into the woods.
The mother called police, who used a K-9 unit to search for the suspect, according to WBTV.
Police said they believe Workman was able to initially evade by police by getting a ride in a vehicle. Officers said they were able to locate Workman based on his phone and wallet, which he dropped while running through the woods. Police dogs discovered the items.
Cops said the victim identified her alleged assailant by name.
Workman was found and taken into custody on Monday. In the past, Workman has been arrested for reckless driving, possession of stolen goods, probation violations, and eluding arrest with a motor vehicle.
“The internet has just ruined that poor girl," the victim's mother told WTVR. "She was very taken advantage of. I’m uncomfortable in my own home. I’m scared. I can’t sleep at night.”

Tennessee man had sex with ATM machine, says Murfreeboro Police

Lonnie Hutton, 49, was arrested at a Murfreesboro bar Friday night for attempting to have sex with an ATM and later a picnic table.

A 49-year-old Tennessee man was arrested after making an unusual deposit at a Murfreesboro ATM.
Police say Lonnie Hutton walked into the Boro Bar and Grill, pulled down his pants and tried to have sex with an automated banking machine, WKRN reports.
Officers arriving on the scene say they saw him walking around the bar nude, thrusting his hips in the air, according to WGNS Radio.
Hutton was taken outside and ordered to sit at a wooden picnic table.
Police say he then “exposed himself again and engaged in sexual intercourse with the wooden picnic table,” WATE.com reports.
Officers noted in their police report that Hutton smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and was unsteady on his feet. He was charged with public intoxication and taken to the Rutherford County jail on $250 bond. He is due in court on July 1.
