'Teen who raped 5yr-old cousin to death says he did it under duress - cops

A seventeen year old boy accused of raping and murdering his 5-year-old cousin says that both the girl and himself were actually victims of a third person who held them at gunpoint.

Angel Sanches-Zenteno, is charged with aggravated sexual assault and capital murder in the death of his cousin, 5-year-old Katherina Gonzalez, The Dallas Morning News reported. The teen was arrested in early September and charged with murdering Gonzalez, but police added the sexual assault charge this week.

Gonzalez’s body was found hanging in the closet of a vacant apartment on the afternoon of August 31, CBS DFW reported. She had been strangled to death, and was tied up in the closet hanging by a shirt.

The child had been last seen that morning, playing with her siblings. Awitness reported seeing Sanches-Zenteno with his cousin that day prior to her disappearing, according to WFAA.

When the 17-year-old was arrested, police say he told them that a man named Carlos had taken both him and his young cousin into a vacant apartment, where he locked Sanches-Zenteno in a closet. The teen also allegedly said after he left the closet he never saw the girl, and that he did not murder or rape his cousin.

However, police now say he told another investigator that Carlos held him at gunpoint and forced him to sexually assault his cousin “for less than a minute.”

An arrest warrant obtained by the Dallas News states that “the alleged second suspect has not been located.”

A 17-year-old is considered a legal adult in Texas, Sgt. Warren Mitchell of the Dallas Police Department told The Huffington Post. However, Supreme Court rulings ban both the death penalty and mandatory life sentences without parole for those who committed crimes under the age of 18.

Married Nigerian couple used juju to force women into prostitution in the UK

Two women were allegedly trafficked from Nigeria into Britain by Lizzy Idahosa, 23, and her husband Jackson Omoruyi, 41  and tricked into working as prostitutes, a court heard today

One of the victims believed she was coming to the UK to find her father, but ended up trapped in 'thoroughly miserable life' having sex with up to eight men a day at brothels including the Ambassador massage parlour in Cardiff.

The woman, who got through border controls using fake documents, allegedly paid £45,550 to Idahosa and her husband Omoruyi.

 'She was told it could be arranged for her to be brought to London but before this could happen she had to attend a juju ceremony.

'Her pubic hair and brow hair was shaved, her body was marked and her clothes were taken. She had to eat a snail and an egg as well as some dust.

The second woman was allegedly told she was going to find work in a shop with Idahosa in London.

She was allowed into the UK after telling immigration officials she was a lesbian and would be sacrificed if she didn't leave Nigeria.

But the court heard that when she arrived in Britain, she was also made to work in brothels and massage parlours up and down the country.

Cardiff Crown Court heard that the alleged victims, aged 23 and 29, were forced to eat snails and snakes as part of a black magic ceremony before being sent to work in brothels and massage parlours.

After administering the juju on the women, the suspects Lizzy Idahosa and her husband Jackson Omoruyi told them that they would become  'ill, mad, infertile or dead' if they went against the African witchcraft by refusing to have sex with strangers for money.

And all the money they made from prostitution, which came to more than £40,000, was pocketed by Idahosa and Omoruyi, the court was told.

Prosecutor Caroline Rees said: 'The couple were involved in the exploitation of two women brought into the UK from Nigeria to work as prostitutes.

'They were bound to this by something called a juju ritual. It was a ceremonial ritual used to full effect to terrify both women into doing what was demanded of them.

'It was used to ensure compliance, secrecy, and they believed if they broke the bond dire consequences would follow: illness, madness, infertility or death.

'They genuinely believed the powers would work.'

The women were found following an immigration raid on a massage parlour in Cardiff, while Idahosa and Omoruyi were later arrested at their home in Brockley, South London.

Idahosa denies denies seven charges including trafficking for prostitution and moving criminal property, while Omoruyi denies three charges charges of inciting the women to become prostitutes and transferring criminal property. 

Heavily pregnant Idahosa, who has lived off benefits since 2011, claims she was also trafficked to the UK following a juju ritual.

US soldier beat his 2-yr-old daughter to death for soiling her diaper.

Police have arrested US army specialist, Dartarious Graham after they say the 20-year-old beat his 2-year-old daughter to death for soiling her diaper.

Graham was at his apartment Saturday with his cousin, 19-year-old Robert Franklin, and his daughter, Peyton Graham when Graham became angry that his daughter had soiled her diaper.

So Graham did what a lot of parents do in that situation; he took the little girl in a bedroom so he could beat the shit out of her with a belt. Franklin observed this beating but instead of stopping it, he walked away while the beating was taking place.

Once he was done, Graham came out of the room with his daughter who proceeded to go limp and unresponsive. Graham called 911 and the girl was transported to the hospital where she would later die. Police were notified when injuries found on the child appeared to be suspicious, and some of them were indicative of past abuse.

After questioning Graham and Franklin, they were arrested and charged with murder. They have been booked into the El Paso County Detention Center. Graham’s bond was set at $250,000.00, while Franklin’s bond was set at $5,000. The child’s mother, 23-year-old Elizabeth Graham, was arrested as well, even though she was not at the home at the time the beating occurred.

Police charged her with injury to a child by omission after learning Dartarious had a history of beating the child and Elizabeth Graham didn’t protect the child and never reported the past abuse. She was also booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a bond set at $20,000.

Student 'raped teacher in school after choking her until she passed out'

A  high school student in Miami brutally raped female teacher at his school after choking until she passed out, police say.

Victor Marshall Nash, 18, is charged with attempted first degree murder, sexual battery, robbery and grand theft for the alleged attack on his teacher at South Dade Senior High School on Friday. 

Detectives say two hours after the last class ended, Nash approached the teacher and put his arm around her. When she told him 'No, stop,' he body-slammed her to the ground and smashed her head against the floor.

The 6-foot-1, 200lb teen then choked the teacher until she passed out. While she was unconscious, he raped her and left the used condom in her purse, police say. 

The teen then threw his victim's cell phone in the garbage and stole her car keys. When the teacher came to, Nash was gone.

Officers say Nash confessed to the crimes.  Police found him five hours later driving the teacher's car nearby.

The teachers union confirmed that Nash had attacked at teacher and said in a statement: 'We are shocked and dismayed by the event reported at South Dade Senior High. 

'Our schools should be a place of safety and serenity, not only for students, but the adults who work there as well.'

Nash's father, Victor Marshall Nash Sr., is a convicted sex offender who has also been arrested in the past on child abuse charges. 

He told WVSN-TV that he was 'shocked' to hear his son had been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a teacher.

'When me and his mother were together, we tried to raise him, I guess you can say, as both loving parents,' the elder Mr Nash said. 

He said he doesn't think his son knows about his father's arrest.

Man bags five years in prison for raping puppy

A Florida, man was sentenced Friday to five years in prison for raping his puppy, according to reports.

James Guy Bull, 62, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and having sexual activity with an animal.

"The facts of this case are incomprehensible and vile," State Attorney R.J. Larizza told reporters afterward.Bull's abuse came to light when he was arrested in March after neighbors said they saw him raping the dog, an 8-month-old female. According to thepolice report, which was previously reviewed by The Huffington Post, officers later arrived to find that the emaciated animal's body showed evidence of an assault.

Witnesses also told police they had previously seen Bull assault the puppy on several occasions while she barked in distress.

When Judge Leah Case announced the punishment Friday, advocates wearing "Justice For Rose" T-shirts with the puppy's picture "cried and cheered," the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported.

The dog, previously named Coco, was renamed Rose by the rescue organization now caring for her, the paper noted.

Woman had surgery for $20,000 to add third breast to make herself LESS attractive to men

A massage therapist claims to have undergone plastic surgery to obtain a third breast.

Jasmine Tridevil (not her real name) says she had the surgery “a few months ago” and is now hell bent on starring in her own reality TV show.

The 21-year-old has hired a camera crew to follow her around and hopes to pitch her show to MTV. Writing on her Facebook page, she says she has upcoming appearances on the Jimmy Kimmel show and the Inside Edition.Of the controversial surgery, she told Real Radio 104.1 she had to contact more than 50 doctors before she found a surgeon who agreed to carry out the procedure.

“It was really hard finding someone that would do it too because they’re breaking the code of ethics.”

Of the one who agreed to carry out the operation, she claimed: “He made me sign a non-disclosure agreement as he was scared he’d get in trouble.”

Tampa resident Tridevil, who recently celebrated her 21st birthday, says her parents have not taken the news of her transformation well.

She said: “My mum ran out of the door. She won’t talk to me. She won’t let my sister talk to me. My dad… he really isn’t happy. He is kind of ashamed of me but he accepted it.”

Tridevil says the surgery cost $20,000 and that included a “nipple” implant. She claims to have had an areole tattooed around the nipple after the surgery.

She also revealed: “I got it because I wanted to make myself unattractive to men. Because I don’t want to date anymore.

Police sergeant made sex offenders pose for nude photos

A sheriff's deputy in Texas, is facing charges of improper photography after allegedly making sex offenders pose for nude photographs.

Chad Hightower, 41, a sergeant with 22 years experience with the Wise County Sheriff's Dept., was arrested Sept. 12 after a 28-year-old man filed a complaint.

The first incident allegedly happened in June when the unidentified man attempted to register as a sex offender at Hightower's office. The man had recently completing a sentence for indecent exposure, WFAA TV reports

Hightower allegedly told the man that a new state law required all sex offenders be photographed in the nude. He allegedly took the man into the bathroom in the lobby and made him pose for several photographs from different sides.

A month later, the man met with Hightower again to update his sex offender information.

Hightower allegedly told the man that he needed more photos because the first pictures were defective due to a glare.

Hightower then allegedly drove the victim in a county vehicle to the county's impound yard and photographed him in an office.

According to the arrest warrant affidavit, Hightower allegedly attempted to get the victim to pose with an erection.

“After a short time, Deputy Hightower reportedly advised (the victim) he believed the next thing the State was going to require was photographs of a sex offender’s erect penis. Deputy Hightower asked (the victim) if he could obtain an erection for him, so that the needed photographs could be taken and (the victim) would not have to return in the future for them.”

The victim declined the request. Hightower allegedly asked him a few more times to comply before the victim was allowed to get dressed and go home.

Jack McGuinn, a Wise County district attorney Investigator, told the Wise County Messenger that the victim was able to describe details that would only be known by someone who had been inside the impound lot.

Surveillance video from the sheriff’s office lobby shows Hightower with a camera with the man. Hightower's actions in the video are “consistent with (the victim’s) description of events,” according to the affidavit.

Hightower was charged with improper photography and released on $25,000 bail. He has been placed on leave pending a retirement scheduled for Sept. 30.

Investigators suspect Hightower deceived other sex offenders.

An inspection of Hightower's county-issued camera revealed several more images of nude men taken in similar surroundings.

Man 'kills daughter, 6 grandchildren before committing suicide in northern Florida

A convicted felon has allegedly killed his six grandchildren and an adult daughter in a murder suicide in northern Florida - 13 years after he accidentally shot his eight-year-old son dead in a hunting accident.

Don Spirit, 51, is said to have gunned down daughter, Sarah, 28, and her six sons and daughters, before turning the gun on himself in Bell, a town of only 350 people 30 miles west of Gainesville.

The Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office confirmed that among the victims were Kaleb Kuhlmann, 11, Kylie Kuhlmann, nine, Johnathon Kuhlmann, eight, Brandon Stewart, four and Destiny Stewart, five.

Deputies said they had been called to the residence before for a 'wide range of issues' at a news conference in the wake of the tragic incident. 

 

The suspect, Spirit, shot and killed his eight-year-old son Kyle during a hunting accident in 2001.

According to the Orlando-Sentinel, he spent three years in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon just as his trial was set to begin, in exchange for the minimum sentence. 

Spirit, having been convicted in 1998 for felony possession of marijuana, did not have rights to own a firearm. He was released in 2006. 

Following yesterday's shooting, Gilchrist's county sheriff Robert Schultz said the suspect called 911, suggesting he was going to 'harm others as well as himself'.

Units were then sent to the family address where the suspect was found dead, along with seven victims. Schultz added that some people were still alive after the shooting, but would not elaborate on the number or their relationship to the family.  

He added that the department was not looking for anyone else in connection with the shooting but insisted the investigation was ongoing. 

'We're all family here, Schultz said. 'There are certain things in life you can explain; there are certain things you can't. This is one of those things that I can't explain.'

Schultz added that Bell and the surrounding community is close-knit and people would pull together.

'We'll get through this,' he said. 'I will continue to ask everybody to pray for the families.'

Florida Department of Law Enforcement spokeswoman Samantha Andrews confirmed the agency is investigating the shootings and that it appeared to be a murder-suicide. 

'At this point, FDLE is investigating at the request of the Gilchrist County sheriff,' Andrews said. 'It appears to be a murder-suicide. There is no danger to the community. It was at a private residence there at Bell.'

On Facebook, the sheriff's office wrote: 'At 4 pm today [Thursday], Gilchrist County deputies responded to an incident at a residence in Bell. No citizens are in danger. At this time we are asking for prayers as we continue to investigate this incident.'

Patient, 60, says he was raped by nurse, 33, inside hospital ward

A female nurse “initiated unsolicited sexual relations, including intercourse” with a hospitalized Illinois man who was awaiting a heart transplant, according to a lawsuit filed Monday against the woman and the hospital where her employment was later terminated.

In a Cook County Circuit Court complaint, retiree John Cantone, 60, accused Rachel Shaper of battery and alleged that the Advocate Christ Medical Center in suburban Chicago was negligent in supervising the 33-year-old registered nurse.

Cantone, whose wife Laura is co-plaintiff in the lawsuit, charges that Shaper, seen above “had a propensity to initiate unauthorized physical contact with patients.” The nurse, he added, “had attempted and/or succeeded” in initiating similar contact with other patients in her care.

According to the complaint, Cantone was in his hospital bed at 9 PM when Shaper entered Room 916 East and “initiated unsolicited sexual relations, including intercourse.” The October 12, 2012 encounter, Cantone claimed, occurred in the hospital’s cardiac intensive care unit, where he was awaiting a new heart.

At the time of the alleged sexual acts, Cantone (pictured below) was “medicated with various drugs and was under electronic monitoring,” according to the complaint.

The complaint states that as a result of Shaper's battery, Cantone 'suffered injury and damages of a personal and pecuniary nature.' 

Cantone claimed in the complaint that ACMD officials knew that Shaper had a tendency to engage in unauthorized activities with patients in her care but failed to supervise or terminate her employment.

Cantone’s lawsuit seeks in excess of $200,000 in damages. The complaint was filed about a month before the two-year statue of limitations on battery and negligence claims would have expired. 

Illinois state records reveal that Shaper was fired from the Oak Lawn hospital for “crossing professional boundaries with a patient.” Those Department of Professional and Financial Regulation documents do not further describe the nature of Shaper’s boundary crossing (or whether Cantone was the patient in question).

In January, Shaper was formally reprimanded by state officials for failing to report that she had been terminated by Advocate Christ Medical Center. At a disciplinary conference last year, Shaper admitted failing to disclose details of her termination.

In mitigation, Shaper’s lawyer argued that the nurse had cooperated with state officials and had “voluntarily completed a boundary course.” A state consent order includes the contention by Shaper that “no patient harm” resulted from her actions, and that she “has been licensed since 2009 without prior discipline.”

While the state reprimand goes on Shaper’s record, her license remains active, and is valid until May 2016. (8 pages)

Indiana man murders girlfriend, eats her brains and heart

An Indiana man is being held without bond for allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death, then cooking and eating parts of her body, according to a probable cause statement obtained by CNN affiliate WHAS.

Joseph Oberhansley, 33, is charged with murder, abuse of a corpse and residential entry in connection with the death of Tammy Jo Blanton. He’s being held at the Clark County Jail.

Jeffersonville Police Department detectives responded to a welfare check at Blanton’s home on September 11 after a concerned co-worker called authorities to report Blanton had not shown up for work that morning. The co-worker informed police that Blanton had been having trouble with her ex-boyfriend the previous night.

When officers arrived at Blanton’s home, Oberhansley answered the front door and told police she was not at home and he did not know her whereabouts, according to the probable cause statement.

Officers said they observed a fresh injury to Oberhansley’s hand, and after taking physical control of him, police said they located a folding knife in his back pocket.

“The knife had blood and hair on it,” the document stated.

A search of the home revealed several blood stains, as well as evidence that the back door to the home had been broken through, investigators said.

When police entered the bathroom, they discovered a large amount of blood, as well as a fabric tarp covering the bathtub. Police then pulled back the tarp and discovered Blanton’s body.

“The front of the victim’s skull appeared to have been crushed and brain tissue appeared scattered around the tub,” according to the document.

A deputy coroner who examined Blanton’s body determined she suffered numerous injuries to her head, face, neck and chest.

“A large section of the front of her skull was removed. A large portion was missing. Several cuts to her chest created a large opening,” the corner said, according to the document.

The coroner further stated that Blanton’s heart was removed.

“A plate with what appeared to be skull bone and blood was found in the kitchen. A skillet and a pair of tongs with blood on the handles were found on top of the stove,” the probable cause statement said. “The cooking surface of the skillet was blacked with a void in the middle where the cooked material had been removed.”

During a police interview, police said Oberhansley initially denied being aware of Blanton’s death but later confessed.

“He confessed that he had broken into the back door of the home and also broke into the bathroom where Blanton had locked herself inside. He struck Blanton several times with a knife, causing her death. He also admitted to mutilating her body, using a jigsaw to cut open her skull, remove a portion of her brain and eating it raw. He further admitted to cooking a section of her brain and eating it. A bloodied electric jigsaw and jigsaw blade were located and collected from [the] scene by detectives,” police said in the probable cause statement.

When asked by police what happened to Blanton’s heart, Oberhansley allegedly told investigators that he had removed it and eaten it along with part of one of her lungs.  

“During Monday's appearance in court, Oberhansley said he didn't commit these crimes and he didn't understand what the judge was talking about. He appeared anxious and said his name is ‘Zeus Brown,’” CNN affiliate WHAS reported.

HLN left a message with the Clark County Public Defender’s Office to determine if Oberhansley has retained an attorney.

Woman broke into home, raped 31yr-old man in Seattle - Cops

A Seattle prosecutor has charged 26-year-old Chantae Gilman with second-degree rape after a man reportedly awoke from a deep sleep and found her on top of him in his bed.

The alleged sexual attack occurred more than a year ago, but a recently completed DNA test led prosecutors to file charges against Gilman, according to Q13 Fox.

The unidentified, 31-year-old man said he awoke at 2 a.m. on June 17, 2013 to Gilman straddling him and having sexual intercourse with him. Police say he told the 240-pound suspect to get off, but she allegedly refused and told him to be quiet. He was able to break free from underneath her and said he pushed her out of the apartment.

The victim said he'd gone to sleep following a night of partying and a "long day." He didn't know Gilman but recognized her as a "drug user in the area," a detective told The Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Local hospital staff performed a sexual assault examination later in the day. The DNA collected during the case matched Gilman's this year.

Gilman told police that she didn't remember the incident or being in his home. She described herself as mentally ill.

Seattle police acknowledged to KOMO-TV that an arrest of a female rapist is unusual.

"From a statistical standpoint, yes, it is atypical to have a female aggressor," SPD Det. Drew Fowler told the station. "But we work to hold all people responsible for their actions. The law is specifically written to be gender-equitable and we will charge anybody with a crime that they've committed."

Gilman is a mother of four who is eight months pregnant with her fifth child, said Elwin Hartfield, a friend who answered the door at her last known address in Seattle. Hartfield said Gilman was in treatment in Eastern Washington, and that she'd been treated for mental health issues and drug abuse in the past.

Gilman is set to be arraigned on Sept. 22. She's being held on $100,000 bail.

Lititz man arrested for setting girlfriend's vagina on fire

Police have arrested 46-year-old Donald Hackman Jr. after they say he assaulted his girlfriend over several days, including lighting her vagina on fire.

Investigators were alerted to Hackman after his girlfriend admitted herself to the hospital seeking treatment for her injuries that included second and third degree burns to her lower stomach, genitals and inner thighs.

According to the woman, her injuries were caused by Hackman over the course of days. Aside from punching her repeatedly in the face and stomach and beating her several times with a belt, she says Hackman set her vagina on fire.

 The woman said that Hackman poured lighter fuel on her crotch and then lit her up. She said Hackman helped extinguish the resulting fire, but yelled at her for screaming and crying in pain.

The woman also said that during one assault, her 7-year-old tried to intervene and Hackman ended up locking the boy in a closet. Hackman was arrested without incident at his home and charged with arson, aggravated assault, simple assault and false imprisonment.

“I believe he knew why we were there,” detective sergeant John Schofield said.

Hackman is now in the Lancaster County prison in lieu of a $500,000 cash bail. His girlfriend is being treated in the burn care unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

“I’ve never dealt with injuries like that on any type of assault from a male toward a female victim,” Schofield said.

Man who murdered his 5 children to appear in court today

The three boys and two girls who were allegedly killed by their father Timothy Ray Jones Jr. The 32-year-old will be charged with murder in the deaths of his five children after he led authorities to a secluded clearing in Alabama, where their bodies were found wrapped in garbage bags

The five children who were allegedly slain by their father are set to be remembered at a memorial in Mississippi on today, while 500 miles away, their father will make his first court appearance.

Timothy Ray Jones Jr., 32, is accused of killing his three boys and two girls, wrapping their bodies in separate trash bags and driving around for days with their decomposing bodies before dumping them on a rural hilltop in Alabama. 

Authorities released those details earlier this week at a news conference where a photo of each child's smiling face was displayed on a large screen. The emotional sheriff said at the time he wouldn't release the names until autopsies were done. The children were named as Merah, eight; Elias, seven; Nahtahn, six; Gabriel, two, and one-year-old Elaine Marie, in court records from their parents' divorce. 

Jones killed his five children at home, 'by violent means,' about a week before his ex-wife reported them missing, Acting Lexington County Sheriff Lewis McCarty said in news release issued late on Thursday. 

Lexington County Coroner Earl Wells conducted autopsies and ruled each of the deaths a homicide. The cause of the children's deaths is still being investigated, Wells said in a statement.

At the Amory Church of Christ in Mississippi, a poem will be read for each child. There will be a balloon ceremony and a slide show.

On Thursday, in South Carolina, social services officials said they visited Jones' homes a dozen times in the last three years.

The children seemed happy and well-adjusted despite occasional spankings, and the family took a summer trip to Disney World and the beach, according to documents released by the Department of Social Services. 

Authorities never found anything serious enough to take the children away, but the documents revealed Jones, as a single father and computer engineer, struggling to raise his children.

In the social worker's last visit - two weeks before the children's disappearance - a social worker summed up Jones' life: 'Dad appears to be overwhelmed as he is unable to maintain the home, but the children appear to be clean, groomed and appropriately dressed,' wrote the case worker, whose name was blacked out, on an August 13 report.

On August 28, Jones picked up his children from school and day care. McCarty said the children were likely killed soon after that, with Jones loading their bodies in trash bags in his Cadillac Escalade.

An intoxicated and agitated Jones was arrested at a DUI checkpoint in Smith County, Mississippi, on Saturday, and authorities said he had a form of synthetic marijuana on him.

Jones' wife talked about being lonely and what a mistake the couple thought they made moving from Mississippi, where Jones' family lived. They moved after he got a degree at Mississippi State University and was hired making $71,000-a-year job as a computer engineer at Intel.

More than a decade ago, when Jones was 19, he was convicted of cocaine possession and a crime spree in the suburbs of Chicago, where he grew up, that consisted of car theft, burglary and passing forged checks on his father's account.

'Typical teenager doing stupid stuff, that's about it,' Jones' father, Tim Jones Sr, said from his home in Amory, Mississippi.
